medicine

I have just found out I have chlamydia the doc prescribed sebo (i think that is how you spell it.) I didn't ask but I'am wondering why this medicine because I have to take it 3-weeks.

Hi Rico -

Are you in the US?  It sounds like maybe you were prescribed cipro?

I have no idea why you have to take any medication for 3 weeks for a simple chlamydial infection, unless you have PID or something, but even then, you'd be on a few different meds, not just one.

If it is cipro, that won't cure chlamydia anyway.  I think you need to find out what it is, and if you let me know if you aren't in the US, I can maybe find out what medication that is, since meds often have different names in different countries.
