Everything you mentioned is inter-related.
Stress may increase blood pressure, lower magnesium which may affect heart rate (among many other things) lower thyroid function if prolonged (which increases cholesterol and risk of heart disease)
Stress leads to production of more energy in the form of metabolic fuels, which cause the liver to produce more LDL. Also, stress may interfere with the body's ability to clear lipids.
Study results published in the journal Circulation, found that cutting back on sugar will reduce blood pressure.
