I got my blood results.
Cholestrol is 147
HDL is 39
LDL is 76
Triglycerides is 156
I am 59 years old - excercise went down from long distance running regularly to walking 3 or 4 times a week for 45 minuutes due to back ache.
What does the triglycerides being high mean when the rest of the numbers are decent. Your help is much appreciated
It's not sugar in it's simple form, it's empty carbs such as breads and pasta, even alcohol. These metabolize as sugars. Cutting your sugar intake won't help if you don't watch the empty carbs as well.
