I've been having what I believe are the tell-tale signs of chronic fatigue syndrome for about a month now. It's progressing really quickly, and I want to get it stopped, now. I have: excessive fatigue, can't stay awake for more than 12-14 hours, muscle weakness, brain fog, aching/restless muscles, unable to regulate my body temperature (always too hot or too cold), and irritability. I also have multiple food sensitivities, which is also a telltale sign. My question is, should I go see a doctor? I live in Canada, so I would have to be referred to see a specialist, and I won't get in to see my family doctor until June. I don't want to put extra strain on the health system if I didn't need to. Am I overreacting? Or could this be something more serious?
