Who are the community leaders for this forum?

Hi.   I have a series of questions about this disorder, but I am noticing that there isn't a lot of participation on this forum.  Are there any community leaders I can leave a message with?

Thanks,
Tammy

Did you take GSE or a pre made product?

Hi all!  I am new to this site, but have been dealing with the effects of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia since 1991.  There probably isn't much I haven't experienced or treatment I haven't tried over the many years since my diagnosis.  How you deal with stress and personal attitude can have some impact on your illness, but unfortunately that only goes so far.  Still it is important to keep your stress level down and your spirits up.  That is often easier said than done when dealing with chronic pain and illness.

Having a site like this is a helpful tool because it reminds us that we are not alone in our struggle with this disease.  If anyone has any specific questions or just wants to chat about CFS, I will try to respond if you would like to hear from me.

I was diagnosed in 1998 and am severely disabled by this illness.  My husband died in 03 where I face life alone.  Severely disabled with CFIDS and alone is a deadly combination to attempt and survive.  I was not aware of this truth until the death of my husband.  Moment by moment is how I hang on and stay alive.

Gentle ((hugs)) shared with anyone facing this nightmare illness - especially with the way we are treated when severely disabled and coping with the resultant economic challenges.  To say that society is not a kind place to survive severely disabled alone with this illness is a major understatement where it is in fact deadly.  - Patricia

Hi!  I am just popping in here to suggest you consider a possible cause - parasite infection.  Nobody wants to think they might have parasites, but Dr. Oz pointed out on a recent show that 80% of people do indeed have parasites!  I tried treating my digestive symptoms and low energy with a product with grapefruit seed extract, artemisia annua and echinacea.  I supposedly have Celiac disease, but even with a strict Celiac diet and avoidance of dairy and nuts, I still wasn't as good as I should have been.  So what could it hurt to treat for parasites?  After a week I feel GREAT!  Tons of energy and restored digestion.  I just have to put this thought out there.  The brand I am taking is NutriBiotic, but the ingredients are what matters.  Besides GSE (not to be confused with grape seed extract or grapefruit extract; you need grapeFRUIT SEED extract - GSE), other things that work are cloves, black walnut extract, and others.  Usually it takes more than one thing to treat both eggs and adults, and all the things seem to taste horrible, so it's easiest to try something already in a capsule.

Hope this helps you.

hi! i don't know who the forum manager is either. welcome anyway. it is a low traffic forum as we are usually too exhausted to get to the computer and participate!

to anyone who knows: how do i get this forum on to my shortcuts list??
it used to be part of the fibromyalgia group but got disconnected and separated - which is fair enough as i think there is overlap even though they are often different conditions - but - as is classical in cfs - the forum is isolated from being included in the automatic shortcut menu

take care everyone!
