On September 13, 1994, my hand accidentally went through the glass section of a door, my wrist was cut open and the median nerve was severed. Nine days later I had surgery. I'm not going to get into all the details. To make a long story short, the nerve was reattached but my right hand has never been the same. Two years ago I went to an expert and I had some tests at NYU and the tests revealed the reality that my hand didn't get better. Is there any institution doing research to achieve a better outcome for people with injuries such as mine? Is there anything that I can do to help my hand at this point in time?
