Liver cirrhosis

Hi there,

One of my uncle who is 52 years old and known case of liver cirrhosis. He has Hep B also.
When he did ultrasound abdomen recently, it shows ' Liver is reduced in size in right lobe and coarsed echo. Left lobe is enlarged. There is a small hyperechoic SOL of 18mm x 21mm in segment 7 of right lobe of liver.'

(He has done ultrasound of abdomen last 4 mths and there was no 'small hyperechoic SOL' )

1) May I know what does the result indicate?
2) Any possibility of having liver cancer?
3) What are the treatment be like?
4) Is it serious?

thank you all in advance ... ^.^

Please ask his doctor to interpret this result. We here are not doctors and cannot and should not try to diagnose a test result. Please come back and let us know what his doctor has said and we may have suggestions from our experiences where to go from here with his diagnosis of cirrhosis and what you may expect going forwards.

Best of luck
