2 colds in one month

Hi, about a month ago I had cold which cleared up in about a week. Then I went on a 2 week trip to Japan. There were a lot of sick people on trains and the theater and it seems that everywhere I went there were sick people all around me. A day before I was supposed to leave I got some cold symptoms and when I came back to the US I had another cold. Mostly a stuffed nose. Is it normal to get a cold twice in one month? My mom was traveling with me and was exposed to the same germs but did not get sick.

With as many germs you were exposed to, yes, it's very likely you had multiple colds from multiple viruses, and this can be normal.  If you're not improving after 2 weeks, it's worth going to see the doctor.
