Airborne flu and eyes

Hi,
Can airborne flu that is transmitted through breathing enter the eyes and cause an infection?

It would be more helpful just to say what your eye symptoms are rather than speculation on what might have caused them.

yes, because nowadays our urban areas are fully contaminated with different types of unhealthy air pollutants, they can transfer through breathing and can cause air born flu as well as eye-infection. you need to watch your eyes on regular basis and take some medications for flu. Thanks
