HELP: cold-like symptoms for over 3 weeks..eek!

Hi,

I’m a 28 year old female and have been suffering from these cold-like symptoms for over 3 weeks. Hoping someone can help me figure out what’s wrong and maybe some options I might have.

my symptoms: duration
achiness, chills, headache: first 4 days only
coughing: 19 days so far (didnt start until 4 days in), during which i lost my voice for 2-3 days
runny nose: 8 days so far (didnt start until 15 days in)
muffled left ear: 3 days so far (didnt start until 20 days in)
vomitting: 2 days
fatigue: throughout
total duration: 22 days so far

my cough alternates between wet and dry, sometimes there is yellow/white phlegm. in the mornings, i experience heaving/gagging when coughing. in the beginning, it hurt to swallow and i experienced a deep barking cough (especially when lying down), but its starting to ease.

my runny nose expels yellow/white mucus and i have to blow my nose every ~3min. in the mornings, mucus is dark yellow/orange.

i saw an ent doctor and he listened to my chest and inspected my ear, nose, throat. he said i have laryngitis possibly caused by lpr (but i have taken reflux medication & diet in the past with no luck). he didn’t prescribe any medications & advised to let it run its course for 7-10 days, but it’s well past that

treatments I’ve tried so far: lots of fluids frequently (water, tea, icepops, oj etc), dayquil, nyquil, humidifier, hot steamy showers/baths, sleeping on a 45 deg wedge pillow, resting well, eating healthy, not eating 5 hrs before bed, allergy tests for food environmental & animal allergies all came up clear

ps all my other symptoms i've been suffering for 1.5 years disappeared - throat tightness, lower back pain, burning/fullness in abdomen, and rash on my hand - have strangely been in remission since i’ve been sick.

any suggestions for next steps? doctors i should see?

thankies!!!
