Should I be worried..?

Both my parents came down with flu last week, as did my school friend. Well, I think my friend did. She was off school for three days due to vomiting, fever, sore threat, exhaustion and what-not.

Over the past few days I've noticed myself becoming more and more tired, yet finding it harder to fall asleep. My throat is sore and sometimes my voice 'cracks' or breaks whilst I'm talking and I completely lose my voice. Then I cough and suddenly my voice is back.

I've been sneezing a lot and had some cramps. Me, being a 15 year old girl, I assumed the cramps were due to, hm, that time of the month. I've also felt kind of sick and had really horrible headaches. I'm not sure if the headaches are from lack of sleep or staring at a laptop screen for too long or urgh~

About three days ago I noticed a sort of brownish stuff dried in my underwear. I decided it was the blood from you-know-what but today I went to the toilet, noticed that my feces were incredibly watery and loose and there was a tiny bit of blood.

Is there a possibility that I have the flu alongside my period, or something more serious? Should I address my parents? I don't know if I need to be taking time off school or whatever. I know this is REALLY LONG for what should've been a question but I'm a little paranoid.

Yes, it does sound like you may have the flu or virus along with the symptoms of your menstrual cycle.  I hope you have talked to your parents about this, and if you're not feeling better, please see the doctor.

You should definitely talk to your mom about what you saw. Your mom can help you determine if you need to see a doctor or not. The sore throat and cracking voice could be a virus. Getting tired for a few days before the start of your period is really common.  So is getting diarrhea when it starts.  If the blood is in the diarrhea, then you'll definitely want to go to a doctor to get it checked out.
