Water like substance dripping from my nose

I have had a cold over the past week of which the symptoms have subsided. However I have for the past two days had a water like substance run out of my left nostril randomly. I don't know anything that would cause it other then being an effect of the cold but i've never had it before. I've never had headaches really other then one or two in the whole of my life but for the time of the running nose I have had a slight headache.

Do you have any ideas what it could be?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Water out of the nostril sounds like rhinorrhea (nasal drainage / drip) which is often from a cold.

Browseruk is right, a saline nasal rinse is very helpful in these cases.

In my Experience it is Sinus problem, after a cold I can get this for weeks,my view is I have been successful buying a salt ater spray and using this in both nostrils -instructions are on bottle, I use them daily, this helps against infection and more natural as all other drugs or curs tend to worsen the conditon and believe me I have tried all, but anitbiotics also ruin your natural imune system. if you have anymore questions - I will try to answer. I also use a Medisana medinose plus diod machine which uses light and find that also hleps me a great deal, I use that for five mins every day, but you can use more often when you a problem ongoing.
