prolonged cold & cough
Hi,
I caught a cold about 2 months back. I had fever for a day and cold and cough lasted for nearly a month. This was the 1st time i was for such a long period. I was traveling frequently and i assumed that to be the reason. Now Iam still experiencing frequent cough with greenish yellow sputum for over a month. Iam not feeling any other discomfort or symptoms. Need definitive advice regarding this.

Hi well firstly this year a lot of people have had prolonged viruses. The green sputum is worrysome.. It is better to get checked by a doctor, if you can because it could be a bacterial infection but usually you have fever and or chest pain orit is hard to breath. My husband had something like this for several months and he went in for something else but had the doctor listen to his lungs and the doctor said it was viral. I guess I would err on the side of caution.
