Cold or something else?

For about a week now, my throat has been sore, mostly on the left side. It hurts when I press down under the chin on the left side and when i swallow, but otherwise there is no pain. I have no other cold symptoms. I'm worried it may be cancerous or something but I'm unsure if it's a cold or something else?

Hi. Did you go to seea doctor it can be an infection that is increasing. It can be a cold but you noticed it quite late. If no pills help and you have the same symptoms for more then 3 days you need peofessional help.

When I press down on my left side of my neck under the chin it hurts. My throat in the same area hurts too but no other symptoms
