Dry cough

Hi,  I am 34 years old. I am having dry cough for About 2 months.  Doctor has given me some antibiotics and ventolin. Antibiotics have finished and were a week prescription. I am taking ventolin. But the cough has not improved at all. It is usually at evening to night and early morning time.
What do I do?

I think it may be time to have a precautionary chest x-ray.

No other meds or conditions?

How's your health generally?  Are you underweight?  I developed a dry cough for more than a month that I attributed to becoming undernourished, as it vanished days after I started eating more & richer foods.

Are you in a setting that might be triggering dry coughing (mold spores from a behind the wall or ceiling leak; excessive dust or chemical fumes)?
