wow, funny I read this!! my incurance went through and he seen fluid build up along with nose inflamation but told me allergies! I am still having sinus issues now with a cough. I am going to my ENT dr wed so hopefully they give me some antibiotics and see if that clears the issue...I thought it was just anxiety (dizzy and ear itching)

It sounds like an allergic reaction. An immune response is inflammation. Take 2 Advil OR elderberry extract to reduce inflammation. The elderberry extract is also anti viral/bacterial. Since you have a fever it may be viral

If it were me that’s what I would do. If it worsens I'd go see a doctor. Nyquil will also ease the inflammation but it won’t reduce any possible infection.

Make sure you are getting enough vitamin D. The flu this year is extremely catchy. Take at least 2,000 IU of vitamin D daily. That may sound like allow especially since the governmental standard is way less but, the body makes up to 80,000 daily when exposed to sunlight for a few hours.

Eat less red meat as it’s the type of meat that your body works hardest to digest. Eat more raw fruits and veggies as they are very easy to digest and you take on their immune system with their natural anti-bacterial/viral substances, enzymes and antioxidants.
