food intollerance

my 1 1/2 year old daughter seems to have lactose intollerance.  She can not eat any food that contains milk cooked or not.  She also can not have lactaid, or peanut butter, hot dogs, oatmeal, or high fat food.  She gets really bad bloatting, horrible diaharea, abdominal pain, and ocasional vomitting from all of these iteams.  I have taken her to the doctor over and over again for these conditions they even did a blood test to see if there were allergies present and they came back negative the doctor does not believe she is even lactose intollerant and says to give her milk.  I don't know what to do because if I do give her milk products she is horribly sick all day but do not know the corrilation between these foods and what is causing her to get so violenly ill.

Hi,
You can try to confirm lactose intolerance by  tests like stool reducing substances, hydrogen breath test ...
If found lactose intolerant, lactose products should avoided. Low lactose diet/ yogurt may be given.

Hi, I
I have two children and they are both lactose intolerant and I am as well (kids were not tested but have similar symptoms as your daughter.)  I have them both drinking soy milk-which  has as many nutrients as regular milk and they handle it better.  My daughter does say the soy gives her a stomach ache sometimes so now she is on rice milk.  There are other alternatives other than regular dairy milk-there is the soy, rice, and almond milk.  I would ask your doctor about using these instead.  I also would not give her peanut butter yet this is a common allergy food.

hope this is helpful

(by the way lactose intolernace is not an allergy and a different test would need to be done to determine that.)
