frequent bowel

I have up to 3 bowel movements each morning - only mornings.  I have had a scan and had samples taken to lab - results were all good.  I was tested for gluten/cillia.  Results good.  What's my problem?

Also my doctor has suggested that I have a vaginal scan to make sure there isn't a cyst on my remaining ovary. I had a vaginal scan 18 mths ago and a cyst was found, but dissapaired when they re checked it 6 weeks later.

Hi I wonder if you could give me some advice. I have been having pains in my stomach for about 2 weeks. First of all I think it's fair to tell you I suffer from health anxiety. I have been to my doctor 3 times over my stomach problems. She examined my thoroughly & said everything feel perfectly normal. It's proberly my IBS kicking in as normal. I told her it feel like a period pain, but I had a hysterectomy 8 years ago and only have one ovary left. I had the other ovary removed because it had a cyst on it. I am worrying because the discomfort I am suffering is on the left side mainly. I don't know if it's my bowels or the one ovary.
I went back to see my doctor today... I explained to her that 'bowel cancer' was heritory in my family, as in, my grandmother died with it, my Aunt died of it. She said that this information wasen't on my medical records and maybe she should write to the colonosopy clinic and ask them if I should be screened. I have no symptoms of bowel cancer but she said that because I am now 50 years old I should have screening done every 5 years because of my families history.

Question is : do you think I should put myself through this awful examination 'colonoscopy'. without any nasty symptoms?????

-What does a colonoscopy involved??
-how will that effect me after?
-does it hurt?

Thank you for your help in this scary matter. I am struggling as I suffer from depression & health anxiety.

I am 68 years old.  No blood or mucus.  No weight loss.  Mostly formed stools.  I have noticed less frequency of movements.  Lost my spouse a little over a year ago.  Also am on nothing for hormones.  Is any of this making sense to you?
