hello,
for the past 3 months i have been suffering with bouts of water stool and constipation. also bloating  gas and a sence of fullness. i went to my gp who refered me to a gastro who im waiting to see. shae did a rectal exam and said it all feals normal but she found some blood in there. ive also been having low back pain so im really worried. what conditions could cause symptoms such as these im also waiting to go in for a ct of the abdomin so they have a better idea. im worried its colon or ovarian cancer, i am 25

The symptoms you have mentioned and a normal colonoscopy point towards IBS only.
But since rectal emanination revealed blood, you can  undergo sigmoidoscopy to look at the lower colon, rectum and anal canal to look out for lesions causing the bleeding.

no,i had a colonoscopy 2 days ago which was normal, also had a ultrasound to rule out ovarian cancer. doc told me that probably have ibs but im not happy with that answer. going back to doc next week to ask for more tests. also since the colonoscopy ive been so tired everyday

have you heard anything about this yet? I am 46 and have the same symptoms. I ahve had my colon checked and of course I am male so my prostrate has been checked and they say that is normal but I blow up in the stomach and have waht feels like all this water, if I eat anything or drink anything I blow right up. Also, I am gaining weight yet I am barely eating. Hardly urinating at all two years ago the Dr. said I had lower back pain from an earlier surgery on my back  so they put me on methadone. the VA did. I just spent 3 and a half weeks of horrible withdrawals getting off this nightmarish ****. Now, i need to figure out what really was wrong. All I have is the VA and that might be a downfall. having nothing may be better! Pleae let me know if you ahve found out anything I would be be eager to learn.
