Colon cancer at your age without family history is rare.  What you described is consistent with IBS.  The mass you felt could be constipated stool.  The bleeding likely is from straining and hemorrhoid.  The stress from worrying about whether you have colon cancer will in and of itself make IBS symptoms worse.  Constipation can cause fatigue.

What you needed is - (1) prep-H and sitz bath to relieve hemorrhoid, (2) stay on a high fiber diet (consider adding 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds to your daily diet), (3) drink lots of fluid, (4) practice relaxation and deep breathing.  If your symptom persists after you have tried all if the above for 2-3 months, then maybe a visit to your doctor would be helpful.

Get it Checked!!! Ore than likely if it was colon cancer it would have canned you by now!! However, their are many problems that can happen in the colon. At 23, if you tend to it now, you may be able to avoid colon cancer which comes on people with these types of issues later in life after 40!
