stools which are mixed in colour

i went to a GI specialist recently and he prescribed some medicines . after taking those medicines iam some what relieved. my problem is that iam stools which are different in colour. when i go to the bathroom initialy stool comes in dark brwon colour and the remaining stool is in normal colour. what is this condition
