CVID treatments

Are there any non-Western medical (Asian) or holistic treatments for CVID, since I attribute the constant and reckless prescribing of anti-biotics by physicians for the resulting symptoms?

The problem here is, you have a disease that prevents proper functioning of the immune system.  Building up your immune system in certain ways might help, but also might hurt, if your body can't utilize the help.  Because of this, you'd probably be better combining your physician care with a trained professional, meaning an herbalist, holistic nutritionist, Doctor of Chinese Medicine, ayurvedic physician, naturopath, etc.  None of us on here can tell you what would work when your body simply can't manufacture part of your immune system.  There are avenues of research, however, you might want to ask of these professionals.  Many herbal formulas help to strengthen the immune system, but first you'd want to ask if this might actually be counterproductive, as it is with autoimmune disorders.  I'd look into regularly taking probiotics focused on bifidus, which can help with intestinal problems.  Dietary changes might help keep down inflammation and bacterial invasion, particularly cutting out sugar, wheat, dairy and whatever else you prove to have intolerances to.  I'd also ask about colostrum, which might help with some of the problems this disease raises.  There are also some less-known immune system aids that might be of help, such as oriental mushroom derived supplements and foods.  Good luck.

This is a natural way to build up your immune system. Do the pranayam at the maximum duration, twice a day, for the first six months. The effect is gradual, so do allow months.Let me know when you start to notice the benefit.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day. Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
Duration : 5 to 21  times
