Should effexor caus you hair to get thin, will it go back to normal when supended?

Theres lots of info on the net. I have herd it can cause hair loss, I dont think the doctors know much at all to be honest! I agree with you whole heartedly, this is an evil drug. Hope you get to the bottom of this

Yup unfortunately i have done that before an went back to taking the lowest dose tou ease the withdrawal (37,5mg) after two years i can say withdrawal is justa about over, this is a nasty drug and should i known i would never have took it to begin with.

Don't know about the hair, but don't quit this med abruptly.  It can be hard to quit, so only do that under the care of a knowing psychiatrist, and taper off slowly.
