Mixing prescription drugs and marijuana

Wellbutrin and Xanax. What are the risks of taking these and smoking marijuana? I already used to self medicate with the marijuana, but recently started the Rx meds due to a Traumatic experience but I am concerned with the combo.

And that's different than eating supermarket food how?  Anyway, the problem with MJ when you have mental difficulties is that it can intensify what you're already feeling.  If you're feeling depressed and anxious it can make you more so.  That's especially true with the super strong strains now dominating the market, which make people way more introspective than the weak pot we smoked in my day many years ago.  I do question the combo you're on, though -- wellbutrin is for depression, but as it's a stimulating anti-depressant isn't usually given where anxiety is a major problem, whereas the Xanax indicates a major anxiety problem.  You might want to discuss this with your psychiatrist.

The problem with marijuana is that some samples confiscated by the DEA contain lethal concentrations of paraquat, which is used south of the border to destroy the crop. Unless you grow the stuff yourself you are ingesting "pot plus".
