I want too if someone can plz answer TOPAMAX TABLETS IS IT THE SAME AS TOPIRAMATE  BECAUSE I AM IN EUROPE AND THIS IS THE ONLY BRAND AND UNDER THIS NAME HERE  AND WILL IT HELP ME WITH WEIGHT LOSS

NO MY UE FOR THESE TOPIRMATE WOULD BR FOR NERVE PAIN AND WEIGHT LOSS WHICH I AM REPLACING WITH GABOPENTIN 300MG I DONT HAVE ANY SEIZURE ISSUES OR ANY PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES I HAVE BEEN NOW ON GABOPENTIN FOR ALMOST 14MTHS AND BAVE PUT ON ALMOST 25KG I WILL GIVE IT A TRY AND SEE WHAT IT DOES TOO ME HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU BEFOR YOU REALISED THE CHANGE IN YOUR MOOD AND BEHAVIOUR PATTERN

My neurologist switched me to Topomax for something else, and told me I would drop the 10 lb I'd put on.  Instead it revved up my brain and made me manic.  I was unable to keep doing the job I was doing and resigned, not realizing it was the drug causing me to be so anxious and hyper.  It was a really good job except for one manager, who was nuts, and all I could focus on was that person.  If you are treating seizures, I don't know, maybe every medication has rough side effects, but I'm just warning you that if you have this psychological side effect you will have to have somebody other than yourself evaluate whether it is causing your personality to change in a negative way.  You may even try to hide what's going on inside your head, making it hard to detect it, but it could still cause you to make bad decisions.

WHAT CAN IT CAUSE SUCH AS EVEN BEING A DIABETIC  I WAS TOLD ITS A POSITIVE FORM OF A TABLET TOO WEIGHT LOSS I WAS USING GABOPENTIN AND I HAVE PUT ON ALMOST 20KG

Yes, that is the generic name of Topamax, but I would not take it without a good reason.  It can cause strange psychological changes and serious eye problems.
