microbal infection diagnosis---help

a patient 20 year old, complaints of unthiftiness,anorexia,pale sclera, and mild gasteroenteritis.the body temp and blood suar is within normal ranges while CBC shows an increased concentration of WBC and raised ESR.the blood samples are submitted to lab for confirmatory diagnosis through PCR. the patient is not an alcoholic or drug addict......
what sort of disease is this? or caused by what organism? also tell me differential diagnosis...

I'm not an expert, but I would think some sort of inflammation?  I would think you'd need more tests.

all the tests have been performed. its a confusing situation, on one hand it depicts symptoms of HCV infection on the other hand, it looks like some bacterial infection
