thank you for your time and effort in answering my question. I did ask my dr and he had never heard og moringa.
thanks again
By all means check with your MD. Unfortunately, he or she is unlikely to know anything about it and might be hostile to it, as most docs are to natural remedies. Moringa is mostly used for nutritional purposes in its native India, and its most known and accepted medicinal effect is antibiotic. It doesn't appear to interfere with Plavix, but Plavix is a drug that has a lot of contraindications, so I would be careful about most anything I took if I was on Plavix. So if your doc has no idea, as I suspect is the case since moringa isn't commonly known or used in the western world, I would probably try to find an ayurvedic physician. Heck, write Deepok Chopra, he's the most famous ayurvedic physician in the world. The benefit of ayurvedic physicians is that they are trained MDs who use Indian herbal medicine professionally.
I'm not an MD but from what I know I would think it could have an effect on Plavix!
