Pneumonia is usually related to bacterial disease. so you can always use antibiotics like Ampicillin, amoxicillin ....
If you have a virus that resulted in pneumonia, while allopathic medicine has little in the way of anti-virals, there are plants that have anti-viral properties. Olive leaf and elderberry are two examples. Herb Pharm makes a tincture that helps with virus control. That being said, though, and assuming this is viral in nature, once you have pneumonia you have progressed significantly through the viral process already and the more important thing is clearing the lungs. There are many herbs that can help with this, too, most of which are mullein based, including pleurisy root, lungwort, and many others. But since puemonia is a very serious condition, I would only do this in consultation with your physician and a naturopath. No matter what you do, pneumonia takes a long time to heal, and much rest is needed. Hope by now it's already better.
Pneumonia is defined as an inflammatory condition of the lungs. It does not "get into the blood". The causative agent may be viral, bacterial or chemical. If it is viral some studies suggest several grams of vitamin C a day will be helpful. Otherwise, as allmymarbles suggested, if the etiology is viral treatment is supportive.
Antibiotics are not effective against viruses. Treatment is supportive.
