which Supps first

Well here goes...I was sick recently so I stopped taking all my supplements to give my metabolism a complete rest and let the prescribed anti biotic do its work alone. Now I am recovered from that problem I want to add my supplements back, most of them were ones I had advice from bionic to take. he always siad Omega 3 fish oil important..so I am asking you, what you think are the most important supplements to add back,....how would you do it...

Hi, guys...I sniffed playful politics, so HERE I AM!!!

But, I also wanted to say I take Flinstone Chewables....That's why I'm as healthy as a horse!  I don't mess with any of that other cr, er, stuff.

Going back under my rock now.  Good to see Marg, Peggy, and Pax!

I would research any supplement before taking it. I would not take the word of what any of us say. I only give opinions and what I have learned in my research. Below is one of thousands of links on the benefits of CLO. It is very interesting and very informative. This is also something that Granny used to administer to her children and one old timey remedy that is worth it.

Also something else good to check into is enzymes. They will help your stomach after the antibiotics.

Take care and best to you,

I think Bionic/Deep had to leave because he posted too much, though my own suspicion is it's because he had a personality.

Oh, I personally wouldn't recommend cod liver oil unless you have a specific need for it.  Organs are how we filter toxins, so using too many or eating too many can be harmful.  That's especially true for the liver.  For regular use, fish oil is much safer and higher in DHA and EPA than cod liver oil, which is more appropriate for stomach problems or skin problems or dry eyes, things that you usually would only use it as long as needed.

Did you really think I wouldn't help my favorite right wing extremist?  An English one, no less.  You always begin after a bout of antibiotics with a good refrigerated probiotic with a spectrum of bacteria.  The best is Holy Trinity by Natren, but it's ridiculously expensive, so I'd go with Mega Foods or New Chapter.  That's to replenish what the antibiotics killed.  The second most important is a good multivitamin.  I personally alternate ones by Rainbow Light and New Chapter, but you probably already have a favorite.  After that, you supplement based on what specific needs you have.  I'd say based on what little I know of you, a Stress B probably would be good, fish oil is good for everyone as is flax oil, and probably some adaptogens such as eleuthero and ashwagandha based on your having a weakened condition -- they help the body adapt to stress.  But other than that, I'd have to know what specific conditions you're dealing with, where your body's weaknesses are.  And of course, lots of organic fresh vegetables is the best supplement of all.  Glad you're fixed of whatever it was you had.  Now, get back out and tea party!
