mid line is off the optimal position

I started my orthodontics treatment three weeks ago with my #10 missing. my original mid line (position of #9 and #8) is good. about one week ago I found out my #9 and #8 moving towards #10 space and the mid line is off. I am very worried. how could mid line to its optimal position garantteed? when orthodontics put braces /arch wire on, how he adjust it to bring patient's #8 #9 to their optimal position?

I tried to talk with my orthodontist, but he seems don't think mid line is off... which make me even more concerned....

( I have x-ray, pictures of my tooth before the orthodontics treatment, and I look myself in the mirrror very often, that how I found out that the mid line is off now...)

The orthodontist must have taken photos prior to starting the work, so have them take a new photo and put them next to one another and evaluate with the orthodontist. The midline can be corrected and there are many ways to do this depending on the situation. If you are missing #10, then what are you going to be replacing that one with? Are you going to be getting an implant? That should be ideal for you so you would get optimal bite and position of the teeth.

Hi

Thanks!. So  i feel relieved to certain extend.

usually when orthodontics begin to adjust midline?

I have my braces on for about an month. The midline is off after two weeks of the treatment. So now, it is about for two weeks, my mid line is off.

I don't like my current look and want my  mid line back as soon as possible....

Thanks.

Yes there are many of those, such as your models, xrays, depending on what type of xrays they have taken however. But a properly taken photograph, will tell a lot, he would be able to compare the nose, eye and lip positions.

Yes, it is the plan, after the orthodontics treatment, I will get a implant for #10.

Besides photos, x-ray, is there any other way? I am worried , looks like my orthodontics will only use eye judgement.

No other equitment , or facility that when put arch wire on, that could measure what is the best position to put? Thanks.
