Please let me know what you think is going on with my now ex-boyfriend

on Lexepro for depression past three months
Highly functional,market analyst
Accomplished jazz guiltarisr
has f 10 year old girl.
Currently separated (two years)
Originally said he was Republican.  After six months disclosed Right Wing Conservative
Acts normal, sweet, caring, affectionate, loving, empathic, reasonable most of the time
Exceptions:  Obsessed ) with "enemies" including liberals, academics, Muslims, illegal aliens,
Obama, government .  At times said he possessse the "one truth" about how to restore patriotism in America"
Identifies wRush LImbaugh. Previously wrote 60 position paper to audition for reality show to be President of U.S.
I devaluing, demaning, dismissive, lacking empathy " about liberals and academics (I am both)
Highly sensitive to any kind of criticism, disapproval or him - becomes abusively angry but told me Don't take it personally when he would send me online posts from right wing websites.  Would not let politics go. Blamed me if it caused conflict between us.  
e comes from upper mid class  liberal family - no trauma, no apparent developmental arrests, family really nice liberals all) Totally charming, sweet, heartfelt nature and behavior EXCEPT if topic of politics or taking action on his divorce came up.  Over past several months telling me he wanted to lget married etc. but increased private contact with wife as if in an an emotional affair.  Ended when I said no to him going on family vacation with her and their daughter with plan to sleep in same room.
What is this?  Is it treatable with drugs including antipsychotics?  .
Is it wise to disclose my experience to the daughter's school counselor?  He says his daughter (vs. him) is concerned with mother's sexual activity "behind closed doors".  Doesn't add up.

I think trying to diagnose/understand him is a total waste of time.  You know more than enough to run the other way.  Any notion that he will turn into real relationship material with the right medication is you being delusional.  The idea of saving the daughter via contact with the school counselor is totally misguided.

Sorry to be so blunt but I think it is essential.

Glad you are definitely out.  A month is not so long as these things go especially under the weird circumstances.  Give yourself some time and room.

Thank you  for your response.  I ran the other way a month ago and I'm not wanting the relationship back.  I am concerned because I find myself in tears at times, unfocused when I am working, waking up at night remembering the things he said that I tried to "let go" so as to avoid conflict. It doesn't make sense that I could be this turned off by someone on one level but still have this level of upset  (partly at myself since my values/beliefs, etc. are as opposite from extreme right wing as I can imagine and I feel like  I am to blame for not getting the dark part alot sooner.
