I just wanted to copy something I posted in another thread and create my own post for some help...
I'm a bit worried about what seems to be a culmination of several conditions coming together tonight.
I'll explain my exact situation from the beginning...
For some reason, I started getting an irregular heartbeat last Sunday. When I got it checked out by a cardiologist, I was told it's normal, that I have PVC, and that everyone has them but very few can feel them. I performed well (according to him) during a stress test; I went over 17 minutes and no irregular beats or odd occurrences happened during the test. However, though my stress test was clean, an ECG test performed at the ER the night before the visit with the cardiologist verified that I am, in fact, having irregular heartbeats.
All that said, throughout this week, I've had an increasing amount of difficulty with trying to breathe. My breathing feels heavy, especially after a meal and/or while sitting. The breathing is still heavy, but not quite as badly, when I'm standing. The condition is very sporadic and seems to trigger 1-3 times a day at random times.
I'm an athletic individual who prides himself on maintaining great physical fitness. I usually workout 3-5 days a week and generally eat pretty well. I just don't get what's going on at all.
I've also noticed minor little pains all around my chest and in my left armpit tonight. They're very minor, like a 2 on a scale of 1-10; they're just big enough to feel them.
I have been under a lot of stress over finances and relationship issues, but I'm worried this is something that's happening because of a physical ailment (blood clot? pneumonia? bronchitis? heart disease? stroke?) and it's not being diagnosed. It just seems odd that I've been diagnosed with PVC's, and within a few days I'm suddenly getting small pains all around my upper body and my breathing is becoming quite heavy. I'm concerned this is being pushed aside as nothing to worry about by my PCP because of my good physical shape and age.
Please help with any advice!
