I had cardiomyopathy and CHF 12 years ago when I had my last child. Now I have some degree of cardiomyopathy again for unknown reason.
I am confused because I had an echocardiogram at my cardiologist's office, which placed my EF at 45, then a couple of months later, I had an MRI at a hospital lab, which placed my EF at 28. Finally, about a month later I had another echo, again at my cardiologist's office, which placed my EF at 49.
The results are so different, so which test (MRI or echo) is the more accurate one?
