Incubation, symptom date, herd immunity and hospitaliization

The average time from hospital admittance to discharge was 11.5 days and the average time in hospital before a person died from the disease was 11.2 days. The time from symptom-onset to death was 16.1 days. The finding were published in an early release article from the Los Alamos National Laboratory and posted on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website on Tuesday April 7.

"What is the recovery time for the coronavirus disease?

Using available preliminary data, the median time from onset to clinical recovery for mild cases is approximately 2 weeks and is 3-6 weeks for patients with severe or critical disease."

It's also worth noting that people who fight the illness at home have outcomes that are not recorded in any official way. For some people it sounds like recovery is pretty rapid and for others it takes a while to heal from the after-effects.
