Does a Tummy Tuck cause long term pain?

HI,
I had a tummy tuck at the same time I had a hysterectomy, and have been having some sever pelvic/adominal pain.  My OBGYN, who was insulted that I had the tummy tuck done at the same time as his hysterectomy, said it is not from the hysterectomy and that a Tummy Tuck can cause long term pain.  Is this true, is there anything I can do?

Thank-you for your help, I did see another GYN and they reread the CT Scan and Ultrasound and found a huge Ovarian Cyst... I also spoke with my plastic surgeon and he agreed it was not from the Tummy Tuck, but was willing to see me if I wanted a consultation.

Tummy tucks do not cause long term pain except in very unusual cases.  Pelvic pain/ abdominal pain on the surface sounds more like a Gyn problem, but needs investigation.  I would see your plastic surgeon to confirm, but would also consider another Gyn evaluation, if your gynecologist dismisses your symptoms
