I realize that this may not fall into this catagory, but there is no spinal deformities catagory that I saw.
On an x-ray of my neck from the side, all 7 cervical vertebrae, and the first 2 thoracic vertebrae were showing as well. My neck is INCREDIBLY long.
MY QUESTION is then WHY EXACTLY IS IT DIFFERENT? Do the collar bones connect to a lower vertebrae than in a normal person? If they do, what can be done to correct this? If they do not, what can be done to make my neck appear shorter? If something can be done, would this qualify as cosmetic surgery, or other? Finally, if it is treatable, who would do the surgery (specific locations)?
