scars on my lips

10 years ago, I had gone through removing warts electrically from my lips that produced 2 scars. One on my upper lip which is small on the left side, white and raised. And the other is on the lower lip which is about 5mm length and width. It extends in size with time (what could stop it from extending?) and a little bit lighter than my lip color.

What is the proper solution for me? Will scar revision work or will it leave a worse scar? I am so depressed and confused. Please help me

thank u doctor for your replay
when i was searching in google,i found an answer for someone asking (why can’t I have lip surgery if I have lip scarring?) , the answer was:

Surgery can’t be done on scar tissue due to the fact that tissue regrowth on a scar isn’t stable enough for sutures (lack of collagen) so, to keep the sutures in place, it would be necessary to go deeper or use tissue surrounding the scar. This would cause the scar on your lip to be larger, or more noticeable, than the existing one and the skin might grow in as a slightly different color.

is that true doctor? and do the writer mean the new stretched skin by saying ( might grow in as a slightly different color)?.

i need  your calrification doctor

Without a direct examination, it would be impossible to advise you about the success for a surgical revision.  Usually surgical revisions of lip scars can be performed.  Consult with a local plastic surgeon.
