scars

I am 20 years old. I have scars that come from chicken pox as a child, and bug bite scars. I have these ugly dark spots all over my body, (my arms, legs, back, feet, and my butt) they make me very unconfortable, so unconfortable that since i was able to dress myself i have not weared any clothing that show my legs. my mom also has the same scar condition. we tried everything from off the coutner fading creams, to getting a tan. nothing seems to work. is there a sugery out there than can help me and my mom?

The problem with surgery is that on the lower legs, the scars will be linear and may draw more attention than the existing scars.  It is possible that laser treatment may fade some of the scars, but to be honest, I am not optimistic.  See a local plastic surgeon to get an opinion about your scars.

it wouldn't really be called surgery, it'd be more of laser treatments to fade the marks.
