Thank you for responding! The size of the scar would be "huge" and the doctor said it was a trade off for the lumps. I asked if there was anyway to cut it out going from under my arm and he said since it looks like I have extra nipples on both sides he would have to cut those out too and that is why the scar is bigger. They have never leaked or anything so I don't see the purpose of having to cut those out. They are really not that bad, but bug me. I have seen other women that have the same problem, but they look like extra breasts.
Depending on the extent of your current condition, it may be possible to perform liposuction to reduce this area with minimal scarring. This will probably not be covered by your insurance carrier, so feel free to seek a second opinion to see if this technique is appropriate.
