Smart lipo lumps after a year

I had Smart Lipo a year ago on my upper & lower abs. I am now  disfigured with unsightly lumps & bumps as well as fat. What are the chances of another surgon being able to repair the damages?

For a Central Florida plastic surgeon, go to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons web site (www.surgery.org).  There you can located Board Certified plastic surgeons in your area who specialize in cosmetic surgery.  When I suggested fat grafting (if necessary), it means addition of small amounts of fat to correct small indentations from your original procedure to smooth the areas where fat was too aggressively removed.

Thank you so much for your reply. Does fat grafting mean they would have to put fat back in? I am 5'2 and weigh 125. I had the procedure done because I could not get rid of my belly bulge after have my children (now 20 & 17).  I'm afraid trying to repair it could make it worse & I am more ashamed of my belly now than I was with my bulge. You wouldn't happen to know any good surgeons in the Central Florida area? I am also in contact with another woman, who went to the same dr & has the same results. We would both like to find someone who can help.

You need to seek a surgeon who is highly experienced with liposuction and does not rely only on Smartlipo for your procedure.  Revision of liposuction with additional liposuction and possible fat grafting may be required to improve your appearance.  Redo procedures can be successful in the right hands.
