chin implant dent in side of chin

I had a chin implant with face lift 3 weeks ago and over the last 10 days have developed a deep disfiguring dent to the left of my chin.  There is a very slight dent on the other side of my chin also.  My son says "Mum you look weird, it's very off-putting - it looks as though your bone has caved in!"  I feel my life is ruined if this cannot be sorted, I am walking around with a scarf covering my chin and don't want to speak to anyone.
My surgeon wants to remove the implant!  I have undergone 3 weeks of pain and paid all this money for nothing then!  What advice can you give me, I just want to look normal now!

I can only speculate that the chin implant has become dislodged or malpositioned, leaving you with distortion of the chin.  Either complete removal or reposition will correct the problem.

Hi

Sorry to hear that your chin implant went wrong but if you need any further assistance then I would suggest you to consult Dr amiya prasad in NY, he is an expert in all face lift surgeries including chin implant. You can consult with him online through skype. I have gone through his before and after results online, and it was impressive. Check realfacelift.com for more details.
