Sorry to hear about this for you. I am 27 and had a poorly done rhinoplasty as well. My last surgery, the doctor was able to straighten the tip, but now my right nostril is a bit too closed. Also, I wish he would have shaved more of the bone at the top. I will probably have to get another surgery done. I know how you feel, though. It sucks. But just know that you can fix it in the future, it is probably going to cost you more money. Good luck.
You know what I have discovered - it is not the cartilage at the tip which is shifting but my bone - my tip was actually formed perfect. Once swelling went down (I still love it wow I am thrilled) I could see that my bone is shifting to the right which leaves that empty pocket of skin above my left side so it is not smooth when I run my finger down my nose and gives the illusion of a bump
Why did this happen? - if anything with the way I lay on my couch (I have been doing this so I can not flip to my side in my sleep) it should be shifting to the other side because I turn my head that way to watch TV
Is this common? do you think he will fix it? - I have an appointment on the 22nd for restlyne injections to plump my lips and hopefully he can assess it then which is before my actual op check up
Is it possible that this is just the swelling that is deforming my bone and that it will eventually settle back? I can pinch my bone and follow the curve plus it is EXTREMELY obvious and have recieved comments from family members
Hi could this be a retrograde infection?
i agree that you should go directly to the dr for help.
his receptionists selectively reply to my emails and I have called for what I called an emergency appointment and they have nothing til the end of november and I might as well wait til my booked appointment in the middle of december... the area above the bump is constantly pinched and it looks like the bone is being pushed to the side. < you cant see that very well with the swelling around it but once that goes down it will be back to how I looked before! (I had a very crooked, broken nose before going in)
What should I do?? will he fix this for free? I worked so hard for this!
you need to talk this over with the doctor that did the procedure if that Dr.will not help you need to talk to another doctor that might help you for free.
