Does Pathology report contradict itself?

How can the same pathology report say two different things? If under the microscope granulomas couldn't be confirmed then how can there be diagnosis of granulomas?

Final Pathologic Diagnosis:
"Distal Esophagus: Esophagitis with Granulomas"

Microscope Description for the Distal Esophagus
"Few poorly formed clusters of histiocytes suggestive of granulomas are seen"

Thanks,
