Mucus and Blood in tolet

I have Crohn's disease have had for 9 years. I have no insurance and haven't seen a Dr in 2 yrs for the Crohn's. I am not having a BM just mucus and blood in the tolet. When I do have a BM it is thick and takes tons of tissue to clean it up. I don't have a way or money to see a Dr. I just want to know what this means. I have 2 small children and im 33 yrs old. I need to know what to prepare for.

I had the mucus and blood thing with my Ulcerative Colitis. Before I got a diagnosis, my PCP thought it was internal hemorrhoids since I just had had my son. I had to submit to two separate manual exams to verify this... not fun. They prescribed hydrocortisone suppositories and they really seemed to help me. I also took on my own psyllium husks every morning mixed with Orange juice. That really helped me as well. I was having the really messy, hard to clean up poops as well. I highly recommend psyllium for that. It really really helps. My symptoms subsided. Eventually, they came back and I found out I had uc - but thought I would mention those two solutions since they can be had over the counter and cheap if you are desperate and can't see a doc.

This Yog pranayam will help to bring the Crohn's under control gradually. You can do it at home daily, with concentration.First the stress will reduce, and then the health will start to improve gradually.Keep a journal, so you can tell others about your progress.
You need to help your body to build up your immune system. The breathing exercises – pranayam, is a holistic approach creating extra oxygen supply in the body and will slowly help with the health problem.Do the pranayam to see the benefits.Build up your timing slowly.
Have pommegranate juice, drink warm water and avoid cold drinks.

Bhastrika - Take a long deep breath into the lungs(chest not tummy) via the nose and then completely breathe out through the nose.Duration upto 5 minutes.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day. Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it very gently.

Anulom Vilom - Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30  minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
Duration : 5 to 11 times

Press the calf muscles(between knees and ankle) on both legs for about a minute.

The pranayam should be continued once a day at the minimum timing(about 45 minutes total) for rest of life to stay in remission.

I should say to be seen by specialists not doctors.

I have ulcerative colitis and that was often a complaint that when I used the bathroom it would be just mucus and blood.  Maybe your crohns has moved to your large intestine which is very common.  That's really sad that you can't get help I would do what MzFlavor said and just go to the emergency room.  I live in Canada so that doesn't happen here but the waiting to be seen by doctors is awful here.

You really need to go to the emergency room.  Hospitals have all sorts of payment plans that will assist you in paying your bill.  Your health is far more important than worrying about paying a medical bill. Hospitals in in my area of central Texas take as little as $5 dollars a month. Please don't let these symptoms continue without care.
