Surgery since 13

Had my complete large intestine removed at 13 due to ulcerative colitis.
I am 42 now.  Are there any long term affects you are aware of. I
have had 2 kidney stone attacks.  Not fun.
Now I am having pains right under my left rib cage.  I have had
an upper GI and a ton of ultrasounds showing nothing.  I am seeing
another surgeon and hopefully they will order an MRI.
Any info would be appreciated.  Ontario
