Feeling so confused, hope i can get some help?

I have been getting tested for a few months now, had a colonscopy which shown evidence of inflammation in my small bowel, biopsies were taken and have showed ilitus (i think thats spelt right), i was then sent for an MRI scan, but this hasnt shown evidence of inflammation of the small bowel. What does this mean? I have terrible digestive/bowel problems and just want to get better. Thanks

You definitely have some inflammation, but again it
can be cyclical and did not show at the time of testing.
Don't feel silly b'cause nothing showed on the MRI.
Your symptoms and suffering are real and that's what matters.

Hi Miafozzy.
In the absence  of a firm diagnosis other than Ileitis-I suspect that is what you intended to to express-  an inflammation of the ileum, a portion of the small intestine, you will benefit from the GAPS and SCD programs.
Beware that with conventional medical approaches,
treatment by drugs is not effective, other than temporary symptom management.
I'm familiar with the above programs and know many people who have benefited from following them, including my daughter.
Please have a look at those online and let me know if you have any questions.
You can try to get the book " Breaking the Vicious Cycle: Intestinal Health Through Diet" which is based on the SCD and has literally saved the lives of many people! perhaps your library has it, or consider ordering it from Amazon.
Best wishes,
Niko
