Sorry that I missed your email yesterday. Yes, it was never a constant until the month before I started Remicade. Then I was sick constantly and taking pain pills just to sleep. Glad you are going to the dr. Let me know how it goes
Thank you very much for insight. I am making an appointment ( We are self employed and do not have insurance) . Although I do feel better , "No pain, no swelling no hard to breathe today. That is the strange thing about these occurences is that the swelling and pain and hard to breathe comes and goes. Does the sound normal for these types of problems or does that sound stange?
Not trying to scare you, just wish you well and it better to be safe than sorry. Chrons is not something to play with. Bowel resection is scary but not near as bad a a colostomy after a rupture.
Go to a gi dr now and tell him. I have chrons and had the same extemely painful pop in my lower right abdomen. Later I had to have bowel resection. This could be your bowels kinked and it snapping loose. If it didn't you would have ruptured and you then would really be in trouble.
Do see the gi dr asap.
