CURRENT shows on our history now on HBO and History Channel

For all of you interested in history and the founding of our country, HBO is showing a rerun of  the "John Adams" series all night and the History Channel is running "The Revolution" series all night.  Good watches each and especially appropriate on the Fourth of July holiday commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

And before I hear anything about my being inside and watching TV and playing on the internet, please keep in mind that I might just have a very good reason for being here.  It's raining.  The kids are all gone to a concert for the evening and my pain levels are through the roof.  So Sam, it may be trivial to you but quite relevant to me.

I have not spent a significant amount of time in Texas, but have been (briefly) to Dallas.  I liked it!!  My husbands cousin and his wife and daughter currently live near Dallas (still Canucks, but his company has him living there).  We are planning a week long trip there sometime in the near future.  They really like it.

Thanks Amanda.  Some days are worse than others.  But falling barometers send me into a tail spin.  Maybe I should move to the desert!  We do have desert areas here in Texas.  But to watch Hollywood's portrayal of Texas would make you think the entire state is a desert!!  Could not be further from the truth!  I'll put our Hill country up against any area of the country.  It is absolutely beautiful.

Oh, and sorry you are hurting.  I cannot imagine how awful it must be to be in pain all the time.  I am so sorry.

I am very interested in this sort of thing.  Thanks for posting...sounds like a good way to spend my Sat. night, especially the Revolution series.  Thanks for letting us know!!!
