I'm trying to think of what kind of leverage we might have over a country that holds so much of our debt and whose products fill the shelves of our stores. What are we going to do? Tell them they can't spend our money?

I heard a bit on this on radio news on the ride home that didn't sit too well with me.  Whoever was speaking regarding cyber attacks and how real/possible they can be said, "we don't know what we don't know.".  (The question this guy was asked was, "is it possible for Russia or China to hack our missile defense system?".  )

I agree and who needs all this anxiety? It is not like we can do anything about it anyway.
However it seems like in this age of technology and information it gets harder and harder to know what is true.

Well I think China needs us just as much as we need them, but this cyber, hacking stuff is going to be the new modern kind of war I think. That is if indeed it is true and not manufactured news to stir crap. Im getting to where I dont believe anything anymore cause you dont know what is real or not.
