Thanks for the explanation.

You know the old saying, " just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean people aren't following me."

To quote something I saw on utube~ " I don't believe in conspiracy theories. I believe in conspiracies."

Yes, but he did not use the term “Tin Hatter.” He said, “wearing a Tin Foil Hat”.
“A tin foil hat is a hat made from one or more sheets of aluminum foil, or a piece of conventional headgear lined with foil, worn in the belief it shields the brain from threats such as electromagnetic fields, mind control, and mind reading.
The notion of wearing homemade headgear for protection has become a popular stereotype and byword for paranoia, persecutory delusions, and belief in conspiracy theories.

It would be funny if I didn't know the true meaning~and I do consider it name calling and an insult.

From the urban dictionary:

Tin Hatter
A totally consumed Conspiracist that is CONSTANTLY trying to convince you that conspiracies are true.

I cant believe all the wild and crazy stories you keep telling me man, I don't want to hear it - your a Tin Hatter.

Y'know I was starting to rethink what I wrote, and then you do it again. Really? Call me a tin-hatter ? Please stop calling names and I'll try my damnedest to ignore you.

Barb: I come here and have a honest discussion and I am personally attacked again and again. Why do you allow this to go on?

OH: I will respond to you and maybe you will learn something, maybe you will open your eyes? teko wrote, "these idiots re writing law", so I pointed out that Obama re wrote him own law without the authority to do so.
So please tell me how is that argumentative? Someone wants to bash one group of people and I respond with a fact about someone else and I need to grow up? teko called them "idiots" and you have lectured me about name calling yet you don't lecture her?
Once again selective outrage. Maybe you should just sit in the basement with the tin foil hat so the CIA can't hear what you are thinking. And leave real discussion to people who live in the real world.

Vance, you have just got to be the most argumentative person I've ever encountered online ! Listen to yourself, " oh you mean like blah, blah, blah"
when will you ever grow up and start having a discussion without being so combative ? What is your problem?

And PLEASE, don't reply to me, just take a good honest look at yourself !

when you having these idiots re writing law does it really matter about donations unless you can see what they are getting for their money?

Yes, Brice I don't see either side as being innocent. Greed is greed, corruption is corruption whether it's colored red or blue, it's still the same thing.

What I don't understand is, so many people say that the Koch brothers are the worst of the worst.  Using the information posted above, there are a good deal of people/unions etc. that spend far beyond what the Koch brothers do.

I've posed this information to a couple of friends whom are democrats and consequently hate the Koch brothers.  What these people would not acknowledge is, many people spend millions and millions more than the Koch brothers do.

OH, at least you acknowledge that lobbyists of all sorts are bad news.  Koch brothers are guilty of lobbying, but there are bigger fish to fry than those guys.... but a lot of people won't agree that some of those larger fish are indeed democrats.

Contractors Reap $138 Billion from Iraq War, Cheney’s Halliburton #1 with $39.5 Billion
In News on April 8, 2013 at 10:19 PM

"....The US has overwhelmingly borne the brunt of both the military and reconstruction costs, spending at least $138bn on private security, logistics and reconstruction contractors, who have supplied everything from diplomatic security to power plants and toilet paper.

An analysis by the Financial Times reveals the extent to which both American and foreign companies have profited from the conflict – with the top 10 contractors securing business worth at least $72bn between them.

None has benefited more than KBR, once known as Kellogg Brown and Root. The controversial former subsidiary of Halliburton, which was once run by **** Cheney, vice-president to George W. Bush, was awarded at least $39.5bn in federal contracts related to the Iraq war over the past decade....."

They spend huge amounts to get what they want pushed into law, no matter how the American public feels.
They just push their agenda onto all of us.
Lobbyists should be outlawed, in my opinion.

Koch bros look like small potatoes compared to the top 27 or 28 on the above list.  Their contributions look almost nonexistent if you add any 10 of the top 16 contributors which seem to be either democrat or on the fence.
